All waste generated during 3COL maintenance works is sorted on-site into recyclable streams. We do not dispose of commercial waste directly to landfill. Every waste movement is covered by our EA Licence and accompanied by a signed duty of care certificate.

3COL operates a zero-landfill policy on all commercial maintenance works. All waste generated on-site is sorted into recyclable streams and directed to licensed recycling or energy recovery facilities. We hold Environment Agency Waste Carrier Licence CBDL628634, and every waste movement is accompanied by a signed duty of care certificate. Nothing we remove goes directly to landfill.
Do you provide ESG documentation for my sustainability reports?+
Yes - included on every job at no extra cost. Standard documentation includes an EA waste transfer note, recycling rate certificate, materials specification report, and same-day photographic completion report. For ongoing SLA contract clients, we produce a quarterly ESG summary covering all jobs completed in the period, formatted for direct inclusion in your annual sustainability or ESG report.
Can I verify your EA Waste Carrier Licence?+
Yes. Our licence (CBDL628634) is publicly registered with the Environment Agency and can be verified on the EA public register at any time. We recommend verifying any waste carrier before they remove waste from your premises - using an unlicensed carrier can result in unlimited fines for the property owner under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, even if you didn't know the carrier was unlicensed.
What sustainable materials do you use?+
We use low-VOC and zero-VOC paints for all decorating works, FSC-certified timber for carpentry, LED lighting for all electrical upgrades, and water-efficient fittings for plumbing. We also prioritise recycled and reclaimed materials where specification allows. All eco-certified options are discussed at quote stage, costed transparently alongside the standard alternative.

We always present both options with transparent pricing. In most cases, the energy or water savings from sustainable upgrades offset the premium within 6-12 months.
